How it works
Thank you for considering me to create a portrait of your beloved pet, prized coo or anything animal in-between!
The guide below contains my pricing and walks you through the process of ordering a portrait.
Please note that I only take on 10-12 portraits per year around my full time job. That means that sometimes I may not be able to fulfil orders for specific deadlines, but I will always try to make things work.
1. Pick your photo
Where possible, I work from good quality, digital photos, and I'm happy to receive as many as you'd like to send. We will then work together to choose the best one for the portrait. Please note for multiple pet portraits they don't all need to be in the same photo - some of my portraits have been a mashup of over 5 photos!
For memorial portraits I appreciate you may not have high quality photos available. In these cases please send me the photos you do have available and we can discuss the best option. In many cases I will be able to work with the photos you have, but it may be for a smaller portrait.

All prices are for 1 subject with no background. Sizes are the paper size. Your pet will be a good size within this. There is an additional charge for further subjects and backgrounds dependent on detail but typically around 25% of the base price. To confirm your slot a 25% deposit is required.

Some points to consider:

What wall space do you have available? Framing your portrait will add on approximately 3-4 inches to each side

How large is/are your pet(s)? Some sizes may make your pets 'larger than life' which some people do not like

What photos do you have available? Working from less clear photos will limit the size I can do - please get in touch with your photo if you're unsure

Would you like multiple pets in one piece? These typically work better a bit larger
3. Get in contact
To book your portrait please get in contact using the form below, via email at petportraitsbyeilidh@outlook.com, or via my Facebook page 'Pet Portraits by Eilidh Geddes'. When making your initial enquiry please make sure to include as much detail as possible of what you would like, and include any deadline for the portrait such as birthdays.
Once we have discussed your portrait, you will then be asked to pay the 25% deposit to secure your booking. Without paying this I cannot guarantee your spot in my diary. Once I've received your deposit, and before commencing your portrait, I will be in touch with a rough timeline and with a digital mockup of your portrait. This will provide you with a rough idea of what your finished portrait will look like, and is a great opportunity to make any changes to your desired portrait such as the removal of collars or background elements.
The final balance is payable upon completion of your portrait. All UK-based portraits will be sent out via Royal Mail Special Delivery which is included in the price. Please get in touch for international shipping costs.
